Do you remember the first time you picked up a camera?

Wow…I must have been around 10 years old when I shot my first photo. My parents let me borrow their film camera and I went nuts with it. It was so exciting being able to take up to 30 photos per roll and then going to a department store to have the film developed! I think I started with shooting photos of my lego collections and creations.

    Favorite source for inspiration?

This might not completely answer the question…but honestly, my biggest inspiration is not necessarily any specific photo or place, but in fact, I’m inspired most by people. And with that, I mean anyone and everyone I meet. I seriously just love people so much! Everyone has a story, and no matter where they come from or who they are, each story is equally as important and exciting as the next. I’ve been so inspired by everyone in my life that I’ve started an instagram account called @OnlyHumanImages, and all I do is post photos of different people I come in contact with in my daily life. In the caption of the photo I always include a quote or phrase that the person said while I was talking with them, and honestly, that page inspires me so much. Everytime I need some inspiration I just start browsing through the images and seeing what every human has to say.

Tell us about your latest adventure...

The last epic trip I went on was to Oahu, Hawaii. I had met some friends off instagram and they had invited me to come stay with them for a week while adventuring on the island! There were so many amazing moments, but favorite one had to be swimming with the sea turtle! We have turtles here in Florida, but they aren’t nearly as friendly as the ones in Hawaii. If you’re planning a trip just make sure you’ve done some research and know where you’re going. Also, try to become friends with a local because they know all the secret spots!

    Favorite song on the road?

Can’t Stop The Feeling – Justin Timberlake

Sometimes during mid-summer when I’m stuck in traffic, I turn on All I Want For Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey and jam out with all my windows down. It really confuses everyone.

Any current books you're working on?

Honestly, I don’t read too much other than my Bible. However, I’m currently reading a book about writing scripts for films called The Tools Of Screenwriting by David Howard & Edward Mabley.

How'd you hear about Just Chill?

They actually reached out to me on instagram about a year ago. Prior to that I had never heard from them but now I seem to spot their beverages everywhere I go!

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Yikes! This is a definitely a tough one…there are so many dreams I have in life, all of which lead down various paths. However, at the end of the day, I’d like to see myself traveling the world while making movies and taking photos of the places I go and people I meet!

One spot to visit in your hometown

There’s a local place here in Destin called The Jetties. It’s an amazing place to watch sunsets or sit on the rocks and just ponder life. No matter how many times I go here I’m never disappointed.

    Any last words?

The two question I get more than anything else is

  1. “How did you get so many followers?”
  2. “What camera equipment do you use?”

I feel both of these questions don’t necessarily deserve the be answered because once I tell people, then they feel they have to do exactly what I did or take the same approach to achieve the desired goal. I believe this isn’t quite fair to them. Each of us are completely different, and even if they used the same camera I did, the results would still be different. Everyone is creative in their own way, and shouldn’t worry about competing with the next creative individual. However, that being said, I believe that those who are faithful in little, will be rulers over much…meaning, if you are creative in what you have now, even if it be a cheap camera and you only have 100 followers, you will grow in your skills and eventually blossom into the greatest creative individual around.
